The Maintenance Control module is the main tool to control and improve the overall reliability of the technical organisation and to ensure uninterrupted airworthiness of the operating fleet.
The maintenance control organisation also serves as a link between the operation and the maintenance. It is the communication platform for pilots, crews and aircraft mechanics and is the first point of contact in case of irregularities.
For the crew service help-desk it acts as a daily notification board which is contacted on a daily basis by the cockpit crews for the communication of technical problems and to ask for support, help and advice.
AMOS provides maintenance control with a tool to resolve failures or deviations in a fast and adequate manner, properly documented in the “Event Tracking” or relying on information from experience-sheets and the “Failure Case Manager”.
Tracking of Deferred Defects, Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) or trouble-shooting items and their prioritisation are standard features of the Maintenance Control module, which allow the maintenance controller to provide technical assistance to the operation in real-time.
Furthermore, due to its high integration level AMOS offers various tools for controlling and steering sophisticated Maintenance Control tasks, such as root-cause analysis, solution packages, Return-on-Investment (ROI) calculation and many more.
