Swiss-AS is excited to announce that Regional Jet Center (RJC) successfully went live with AMOSmobile/STORES this month. By seamlessly integrating mobile technology with inventory management, AMOSmobile/STORES promises to streamline processes, optimise resource allocation, and enhance overall performance.
The Go-Live team at the Regional Jet Center warehouse gathered to embark on a transformative journey with the implementation of AMOSmobile/STORES. After meticulous preparation and coordination, the team delved into enhancing operational efficiency with the latest technology.
Weeks of diligent groundwork culminated in a seamless Go-Live event for the Dutch maintenance provider. From finalising checklists to defining rule sets, configuring sticker printers, and procuring and setting up hardware, every detail was meticulously attended to. Processes were meticulously defined, tested, and imparted to key users, ensuring a smooth transition.
The deployment of the latest AMOS patch on the Zebra TC78 devices marked a significant milestone. The team immediately immersed themselves in the core operations, shadowing store personnel to optimise mobile device usage. Insights gleaned from the field refined processes, such as assigning picking lists on the go and streamlining sorting methods for efficiency.
A pivotal challenge during the implementation was addressing printing requirements, particularly the integration of rotable barcode printing with matrix printers. Collaborating with experts in Basel, the go-live teams surmounted this minor obstacle with ingenuity and expertise.
The day progressed smoothly, with low workload levels allowing staff to focus on acclimating to AMOSmobile/STORES. The collaborative effort and solution-oriented mindset of all stakeholders ensured a successful Go-Live, validating the extensive preparation and testing efforts.
In summary, the Go-Live event at RJC warehouse exemplified the synergy of preparation, innovation, and collaboration. It sets a precedent for efficient warehouse management and underscores the commitment to leveraging technology for operational excellence.
